Hannover, Germany - Computers, electronics and semiconductors are Taiwan's most widely known industries in the world, but in the industrial sector, Taiwan has its specialty and has a number of leading companies. Including Delta Electronics, HIWIN Technology and Tatung company, the three companies are on behalf of Taiwan excellent in the Hannover Messe to showcase Taiwan's industrial capacities.

On the first day of the Hannover Messe, the Taiwan Machinery Press Conference, which were organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council(TAITRA), invited Delta Electronics , HIWIN Technology and Tatung, three leading companies in Taiwan, to share their advanced technology in industrial applications. Taiwan Representative in the Federal Republic of Germany, Jhy-wey Shieh, also attended the press conference to promote Taiwan's manufacturing capacity and encouraged more trade with Taiwan.

At the press conference, Delta presented its industrial network technology, demonstrating how efficient and safe of its industrial cloud and network technology; HIWIN Technology introduced its latest Ball Screw technology, including durability and advanced maintenance forecasting system, and also referred to its micro manufacturing ability, by which HIWIN can engrave with more than 5000 Chinese characters in the surface of one rice.

Tatung was the first time to participate in the International press conference of the TAITRA, the company pointed that it has a number of industrial applications have been implemented, in particular its Micro Grid energy technology. Now Taiwan's Taiping Island and Dongsha Island have successfully deployed this solution and generating drinking water in these two region by giving electricity via Tatung’s grid solution.

Taiwan Representative in the Federal Republic of Germany, Jhy-wey Shieh said that the meaning of smart in the German related to advance something by going through a painful process, but use Taiwan's integration technology, can quickly reach “smart” without pain.
